01Your right to delete your data

If you've enquired about a package, spoken to our travel desk, or booked a trip with MyDream Yatra, you can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains what that covers and how to request it.

02What gets deleted

When you request deletion, we remove:

Your contact details (name, phone, email) from our enquiry and marketing systems.
Trip preference notes and enquiry history tied to your record.
Uploaded documents (passport copies, photographs) once any active visa or booking process tied to them is complete.

03What we may need to keep

We may be required to retain certain records even after a deletion request, where:

You have a confirmed, in-progress, or recently completed booking — we retain booking and payment records for accounting and tax purposes, typically for the period required under Indian law.
Records are needed to resolve an open dispute, refund, or visa matter.
Retention is required by a government or regulatory authority.

Where this applies, we'll tell you what's being retained and why, and delete it once the retention period ends.

04How to request deletion

Send us a requestEmail hello@mydreamyatra.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request", or use the form below. Include the phone number or email you used when enquiring, so we can locate your record.

We verify it's youWe may call or email you back to confirm the request before acting on it, to prevent someone else deleting your data.

We action it within 30 daysWe'll confirm by email once your data has been deleted, or explain what's being retained and why if a booking or legal obligation applies.
